Get the care you deserve
Meet Dr. Kirby Teuila Grey, DAHM- Integral Chinese medicine doctor, facilitator, and more!
In order to help each person on their healing journey, I first have to see and bring my full self to the table. I bring my years of education, my experience in the medical field, my lived experience, my indigenous ancestry and heritage, my observations of the world around me, my intuitive and instinctive powers, and my gifts of channeling and witnessing.
A multi-dimensional, decolonized approach that is accessible to all
this is personalized healthcare that begins with the belief that every single person is innately whole and has a right to be healthy, as defined by them and their trusted healthcare provider or team. It is also works with the 5 aspects of you- your mental, emotional, energetic, physical, and spiritual self.
An innate, whole person approach allows me to fully witness you as we work together to find accessible and effective solutions to any health problems you may be facing. As we find these solutions, we take special care not to leave any part of the self behind. All parts of the whole are accepted, as we take a more objective view of our inner landscapes.

A lifelong Pacific North-westerner, Dr. Kirby has recently settled in Portland, OR in 2019, with her husband and two step children, after living in Seattle, WA for over 15 years.
Teuila - Dr. Kirby’s middle name
Pronounced: Te-weela
Teuila is Samoan in origin, the name representing the national flower of Samoa. It also happens to be my middle name. True to my story teller nature, there’s a legend behind this name. It goes a little something like this:
The name of the Samoan state flower comes from the word "teu'i'ila", meaning the shiny bouquet of flowers.
Early one morning, a group of Samoans went to visit Fanny, the wife of Robert Louis Stevenson (he and his wife lived in Samoa for years, they are both buried there). As they reached the gates of the villa, the morning sun crested the mountain top and spilled onto this flower, making it shine and look magnificent. In astonishment, the group, exclaimed "Teu'i'ila!".
And just like that, the name stuck. It’s been called Teuila ever since. Years later, the Teuila flower became the national symbol of Samoa.
